Jag har låtit mig inspireras och tänker starta ett litet kokboksprojekt länkat till In deme Jare Cristi. Idén är att jag kommer att koka mig igenom den ovan nämnda kokboken. Jag ska göra vad jag kan för att tolka medeltidstyskan, men som stöd har jag den här översättningen.
Jag tillåter mig att skjuta upp eller hoppa över rätter som kräver ingredienser som jag inte kan eller vill få tag på (som kött från utrotningshotade arter) eller ingredienser som är farliga, vilket innebär att ordningen på recepten inte kommer att bli den samma som i manuskriptet. Ambitionen är hur som helst att försöka laga alla recept.

I am inspired, and hence I will start a cooking project linked to In deme Jare Cristi. I will try to cook my way through the 14th century cookbook Ein Buch von guter Spise. I will do all I can to interpret the medieval German, but in case I don’t succeed in full, I will use this interpretation.
I have decided to give myself the option to skip or postpone recipes that contain ingredients that I can’t or won’t get hold of (like endangered species) or contain ingredients that are dangerous. This means that the order of the recipes will not be the same as in the manuscript. My ambition is, however, to cook each and every recipe.
